 FIRE: The Federation for International Refractory Research and Education

FIRE is a non-profit organization incorporated in Canada, with BY-LAWS and RULES.

FIRE members are academic institutions and companies active in the fields of refractories (manufacturers,suppliers,users and other services providers).

FIRE is managed by an Executive Committee (4) and a Board of Members (18 at the time: 7 from academia, 11 from industry).

FIRE Education Programs have started with the academic's year 2006-2007.
